Teacher Training

In France

Starting 2021 with The ELT Hub

Our experience and adaptability proved invaluable in 2020 and we are looking forward to working with you in 2021.

CELTA : The provision of quality training and your safety remain our priority. We are able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances on the ground to ensure this. Our online courses last for 5 weeks to give you time to become comfortable with the online technology, and of course, this will also stand you in good stead for a future where these skills are becoming more and more necessary. We know that for some of our candidates face to face training is a better option and we will continue to offer these at our three centres in France throughout the year, when we are able to do so.

We restrict numbers on our online courses, in the same way as we do on our face to face ones, to maximise your tutor contact and the support we are able to offer. Because places are limited for both types of courses, you should contact us as soon as you know your preferred dates (jane.ryder@theelthub.com) and we will arrange an interview with you.

Do remember that if you live and work in France you will likely have a CPF training account and you can use this training money to do both the face to face and online CELTA.

DipTESOL : We are very pleased to announce the launch of our Trinity College London Diploma in TESOL. We are offering the Trinity DipTESOL instead of DELTA as we feel that it provides both the depth of study a Diploma level course should as well as offering the kind of flexibility in terms of course delivery that is necessary in these COVID times. Do get in touch for more details.

TYLEC : For those of you wishing to specialise in teaching children and teenagers we aim to offer a face to face TYLEC course this summer. We will be finalising details for this by the end of January.

Welcome to the ELT Hub

The ELT Hub is now able to offer you the widest range of English teacher training services in France as well as some important options wider afield.

CELTA, the most recognised teaching Certficate in TEFL : We offer a choice of sites in France where you can take your CELTA in a variety of formats. If you're confident you can pass your CELTA with the classic 4-week intensive course, then check out our city sites in Strasbourg and Lyon. If you'd rather take that bit longer and enjoy a beautiful, rural setting, then why not do the five-week course at our Brittany site by the sea ?

Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DipTESOL) : is equivalent to a Cambridge DELTA and is an internationally respected, prestigious qualification for experienced teachers of ESOL/EFL.

Cambridge Assessment English exams : We are accredited to offer the complete range of Cambridge exams at our centre in Brittany. Check out details for this at http://landerneau.cambridgecentres.org

CertTESOL, the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL. We now offer this important alternative to CELTA in Moscow, Russia.

TYLEC – if you're thinking of specialising in teaching children, or you already do but you lack a formal qualification, then you might be interested in our new Trinity College, London, certificate level programme in teaching English to Young Learners, the Trinity College TYLEC. Shorter than the CELTA and with a teaching practice component. We offer TYLEC courses at our Brittany site in France and in Moscow.

All of us at The ELT Hub look forward to working with you and meeting you in person.
